In our interview, Igor Drużbiak explains what drives their engineering choices on fast-moving projects like NOVO’s gigafactory - and why adaptability now defines the entire design process. Here are the three points that stand out: 1. Gigafactories demand continuous change, even during construction. MEP, process, and equipment design all shift in parallel. Igor is direct: if a structure can’t be modified later, it’s already outdated. 2. Jakosta chose PrīmX® Combideck to combine lower tonnage with real future flexibility. They needed a composite floor system that could handle major future penetrations without restarting structural calculations.
