*CAJUN SHRIMP AND SALMON PASTA: HOW TO MAKE ALFREDO PASTA FROM SCRATCH* *Ingredients:* 1 bag of super colossal shrimp 2 lbs of salmon *Cajun Butter Seasoning:* 1 and 1/2 sticks of melted butter 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 teaspoon of onion powder 1 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1 tablespoon of minced fresh parsley 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of brown sugar Juice of 1/2 a lemon --- *Cleaning Shrimp:* 1. Squeeze 1/2 lemon over the shrimp. 2. Wash the shrimp thoroughly. 3. Pat them dry with paper towels. *Seasoning Shrimp:* Coat the shrimp with the Cajun butter seasoning and let it sit for 2-4 hours if possible. *Cooking Shrimp:* 1. Heat a cast iron or frying pan to medium-high (6-7). 2. Add the seasoned shrimp (no need to add oil). 3. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of parsley. 4. Cook just until done; be careful not to overcook. --- *Salmon:* 1. Wash and pat the salmon dry. 2. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon. 3. Season with Cajun butter seasoning and let it sit for 2-4 hours if possible. *Cooking Salmon:* 1. Heat a cast iron or frying pan to medium-high (6-7). 2. Add the seasoned salmon (no need to add oil). 3. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of parsley. 4. Cook just until done; avoid overcooking. --- *Linguine Pasta:* Use 1.5 boxes of linguine. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to boiling water. Follow the boiling instructions on the back of the pasta box. *Alfredo Sauce:* 1. Heat a saucepan to medium-high (7). 2. Melt 1/2 stick of butter. 3. Add 4 minced garlic cloves (use less if you prefer milder garlic flavor). 4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of flour and cook briefly. 5. Pour in 1 pint of heavy whipping cream. 6. Add 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, 1 tablespoon of parsley, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of adobo, and 1 teaspoon of salt. 7. Mix in 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. 8. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. 9.
