Alec Cusick, Technical Services Engineer for Owens Corning, outlines key considerations for District/Campus Energy insulation systems in a webinar presented by International District Energy Association (IDEA). The success of underground systems that carry steam, hot water and chilled water depends highly upon proper insulation system selection, design, and installation. Insulation systems must be capable of meeting the mechanical and moisture risks of these locations, along with providing long-term insulation efficiency.
