This week two of the guys are back, and we made significant progress on the house. We underpinned both outer walls of the bedroom, and repaired the southern wall , Installed the housing for the roll down window shutter, built the inner window lintel and completed the rest of the bedroom's western wall including a reinforced concrete corner post. We laid down wiring and heating lines to the eastern wing of the house, installed most of the steps to the cellar, and started installing the earth pipe for fresh air intake. We also built the post for the beam that will support the ceiling rafters of the western wing over the main living space. I'm experimenting with a new trap for the Asian hornets, and started making the fig vinegar.
