Hiking on the Edge at Two of Arkansas' Best Outdoor Destinations - King's Bluff and Pedestal Rocks

Come along for a trip to see two very popular hiking destinations within the Arkansas Ozarks: King's Bluff and Pedestal Rocks. These two places need little introduction for locals, but for the uninitiated, King's Bluff features a huge rock slab with a waterfall cascading off the edge and epic views all around. Pedestal Rocks brings us to the edge of an eroded rock ledge where stone pillars rise dramatically from the cliffside. I enjoyed being down among them as much as I did checking them out from the top. While the hike is a fairly simple, non-technical 5 mile double loop, make sure you are sure footed and keep an eye on your kids, should you bring them along for the adventure. There are lots of exposed cliffsides on this one.
