(16 Mar 2019) Family and friends were in mourning for a Pakistani father and son who were killed in the New Zealand mosque shootings. Pakistan's foreign minister said on Saturday that Naeem Rashid, aged 48, and his 21-year-old son, Talha Naeem, were among those killed in the attacks on two Christchurch mosques. Naeem Rashid migrated to New Zealand with his family in 2009 and was a teacher. People visited the Abbottabad home of Naeem Rashid's brother, Nadeem, on Saturday to pay their respects and offer their condolences. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said at least six Pakistanis were killed in the shootings. Mahmood Qureshi says authorities in Christchurch, where the shootings took place, are trying to determine whether three other Pakistanis who have been missing since Friday's attack were among the fatalities. At least 49 people were killed in the attacks on two mosques.
