Gran Turismo 7 might be coming out at the end of the year with the release of the PS5, so I want to try to do a full playthrough of all the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing High Speed Ring and Trial Mountain on hard difficulty in all 3 car classes in the arcade mode of Gran Turismo 1. Timeline: 0:00 Gran Turismo 1 Game Intro 3:08 Arcade Mode Overview 5:10 High Speed Ring (Class C) with Nissan Primera 2.0 Te 8:36 High Speed Ring (Class B) with Mazda Savanna RX-7 FC 11:54 High Speed Ring (Class A) with Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo 15:16 Trial Mountain (Class C) with Honda Civic 3Door Si 19:21 Trial Mountain (Class B) with Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 23:23 Trial Mountain (Class A) with Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R V-spec Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. This year I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get. In GT1 I will first do the arcade mode and then the simulation mode. The arcade mode consists of 8 different tracks. Each track has to be completed in 3 different classes, so you have to do a total of 24 races. As usual I will try to make my playthrough as interesting as possible by using as many different cars as I can. In class C and class B there are less than 8 cars, so I will be able to show all of them. In class A I will use cars from 8 different manufacturers. In this video you can see me completing High Speed Ring and Trial Mountain, which unlocks Autumn Ring and Deep Forest. In the final race you can see me face off against the old Corvette, which is an unusual car in this game because for some reason it only exists in arcade mode. You can also see me drive the Mitsubishi GTO here, which was a fan favorite car in GT1 but for some reason unlike the other top JDM cars has only appeared in the Need for Speed series a single time, in Underground 2 (under its American name 3000 GT). This game also doesn't have the Nissan Skyline R34 yet, so instead I am using the big boy R33, which is missing from the Need for Speed series completely. In the next video you will be able to see the tracks Grand Valley East and Clubman Stage 5.
