I previously haven't used any raw video formats before, so this is an insight into my first experience and hopefully some clarification into what ProRes RAW actually is. We went out to Central London, to St. James's Park, Waterloo Bridge and Southbank to capture some test shots at a relaxed pace. The experience was very enjoyable, especially using the Atomos Ninja V and I'm pretty pleased with the footage I got. I was genuinely surprised with how great the picture looked after processing and am excited for where ProRes RAW will develop in the future. There's a lot of hardware involved in making the best of ProRes RAW, so it's perhaps a little too cumbersome to be using on every project. But it's great nonetheless to test and experience it first hand as the technology develops.
