My Kit: The Lincolnshire Regiment, France, 1914

On the 14th of August, 1914, the men of the 1st Battalion, the Lincolnshire Regiment disembarked onto then quayside in Le Havre, France for their four year stay as part of the original British Expeditionary Force during the First World War. In this video, I present my kit of those men who first marched into France and Belgium at the outbreak of war during that hot summer of 1914, as they fought at Mons, Le Cateau, Marne, Aisne and Yypres.
