Public health campaigns are powerful tools to fight diseases like malaria, neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), polio, and more. But outdated, siloed systems limit their reach and impact. In this video, Tim Ngugi, Digital Health Program Manager, and Digital Health Associate Dennis M. Njogu from Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) share how they partnered with Kenya’s Ministry of Health, WHO, and Medic to digitize campaign delivery through the eCHIS Kenya app. By enabling 110 community health promoters (CHPs) with digital tools, this pilot campaign reached 90% of its target population in Kakamega County during a mass drug administration to prevent NTDs. You’ll hear how digitization is transforming campaign planning and execution through inventory tracking, in-app training, and performance management. CHAI also outlines opportunities to scale this approach across other countries and malaria prevention campaigns. 💡 Got experience using digital tools for campaign planning and forecasting?
