Revolution Week 2: Mary faces off against Madison in what she intends to be a “message” to Tristan Sabine. Mary sees Tristan as an inferior challenge to claim her championship gold and solidify the complete takeover by The DeathHeads as the top of every division. Madison, however, does not see herself as a victim of any kind and will fight Mary not just for Tristan, but also herself and her own pride as a performer. --- Tristan observes the match from backstage and she takes a deep breath and then slightly jumps when a hand touches her shoulder and she turns to see Rusty, who holds her hands up and apologizes for startling her. Tristan smirks and says that it’s fine, she’s just got a few things on her mind. Rusty sees the footage on the monitor and nods to her. “I heard about what you said to Mary. That’s the kind of grit that not only makes champions, it defines them. I didn’t know what kind of champion I’d end up becoming, but I feel pride in what I did and how I did it. I also know that you feel the same pride in yourself and you more than earned it! When you were the Intercontinental Champion, you gave that title a love and recognition it had never seen before. You also did the same to the previous holders of it, your reign was a celebration of that title and the performers it elevated.” Rusty says as Tristan smiles. “You’re a survivor who learned how to live just as you’re a challenger who learned how to be a champion. But more than all of that, you’re someone who learned how to love herself and in turn love others. Madison, Isabella, Valkyrie, even me… We’re all better because of you. Don’t you ever forget that, darlin’.” Rusty says as Tristan tears up a bit and Rusty hugs her. “Thank you.” Tristan says and Rusty rubs the back of her head. “No, thank you, Tristan.” Rusty says as she smiles at her and wipes a tear from her eye. “But if you want to really thank me, go out there and win at Wrestlemania! You’ve risen by defying odds and the odds are against you since the champion going into Wrestlemania more often than not loses that title you have there. Mary thinks she has an advantage, but she doesn’t. Against anyone else, maybe… But against you? She doesn't have a prayer!
