I try out the Hazardous Mechs squad and get a feel of the playstyle this squad uses and try to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Hazardous Mechs: The idea with this squad is to land killing blows with the unstable and leap mechs and have the damage be repaired (or the mech revived) by the nano mech's viscera nanobots passive ability. Since there is a lot of self-damage to both the leap and unstable mechs, landing the killing blow to enemy vek is crucial to keeping this team running. ACID can be deployed by the nano mech to help the Leap and Unstable mechs deal additional damage and get the killing blow. As long as the nano mech is alive, you can continuously revive the leap and unstable mech which means there can be a lot of blocking and shielding tactics provided you secure a kill. Leap Mech: Leaps into a space and deals damage to itself and enemies while pushing surrounding tiles. Helpful for moving around enemy vek. With 4 movement and the ability to leap, this mech should reposition enemies as it's easier to do than the unstable mech. The upgrade path is straightforward, get the 1 core upgrade when you can and get the 3-core upgrade when you have cores to spare. Unstable Mech: Similar to the leap mech in terms of damage, this mech can also push enemies, but it also pushes itself, so a bit more care and space is needed with this mech. Exact same upgrade path with the cores as well. Nano Mech: This is the mech that makes this team work. It can spray acid and this is most important for dealing with alpha and boss vek, whose health is high and are the greatest threat. This mech has flying, so it should never be out of position for too long and should fly away from trouble. If this mech goes down, viscera nanobots will cease to function and your leap and unstable mechs won't regain HP after landing the killing blow against an enemy vek. For this squad I think it'd be best to get the healing upgrade immediately as 2 health for each killing blow allows the other two mechs to block, shield and stay in the action a little bit longer.
