READ DESCRIPTION PLEASE THIS FIXES MULTIPLE PROBLEMS! My 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan had a headlight issue that was really weird. With the headlights off only the left daytime running light was on when I turned on the headlights only the passenger light would come on. I fixed it by modifying the Multi-function Fuse Panel holes (Enlarging the hole bottoms) that the FCM (Function Control Module) plugs in, then bending the FCM pin tabs down slightly. This has worked for over 3 years with not one issue. See Part 2, it's a slide show, of what I did to the FCM and Fuse/Relay box to make it work: • 01 - 07 Caravan Daytime Running Light Prob... There is no audio but you'll get the idea. If you use swear words in your comments expect them to be deleted. Gauge and shifting Problems Fixed. I was able to fix the Gauge and no high gear problem. It was either the input or the output speed sensor on the transmission. I don't know which one fixed it because I changed both of them there, however I suspect it was the output sensor as that one drives the speedometer. If your tachometer is going crazy, then it's probably the input speed sensor. They are super easy to change with a 1" socket, a 3" extension and a short 3/8's drive ratchet, Crescent Wrench 1" plus, 1/4" Blade screw driver and a rag to wipe off the sensor. It took me 10 minutes to do it and you don't even have to raise the van, just open the hood and do it right there. Heck you could easily do it at the car parts store. Check eBay for good prices. I bought mine from "1A". Here's some more info on it: It was easy, you don't even have to jack up the vehicle to fix it. It will take about 15 minutes if you've done it before if not it will take about 30-40 minutes. You can buy the parts on eBay cheap, $11.00 - 25.00 each. You'll need a 1 inch socket and the two sensors, Input and Output sensor. You can do a video search on the subject to figure out how to do it. Try 1Auto parts. Try there video here: How To Install Fix Speedometer Transmission Sensors 1995-06 Chrysler Sebring Dodge Stratus Parts here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Speed-Sensors... Make sure they fit your vehicle before you buy them. Good luck, Keith Some tag words for searchers, Caravan weird headlight issue, Caravan only one headlight works, Caravan Function Control Module modification. Caravan Gauges Go Crazy. Caravan Stalls. Caravan Stumbles. Caravan Wants to shut off. Caravan low speed stall. UPDATE: After almost three years I started having the transmission problem again, that is the engine would want to stall at around 10-15 mph. I rechecked my sensors. The output sensor next to the drivers wheel on the front bottom of the tranny had some fine metal dust around the tip. I cleaned it and reinstalled it, Problem fixed. Wish I had done this first on the last one before buying one. So try cleaning and reinstalling them before buying a set. Best Wishes/Blessings Keith PS to pull the output sensor you can use a: Crescent Wrench 1" plus, 1/4" Blade screw driver and a rag to wipe off the sensor. For the input speed sensor read the above description. Best Wishes/Blessings Keith
