After weeks of waiting for dry weather, we finally get stuck into building our Powersheds log chalet cabin in the small courtyard at the back of our old Scottish cottage. It’s been taking up far too much space indoors, so this felt like a long-overdue milestone in our life in rural Scotland. While the build gets underway, Benji and Alfie are now getting along like a house on fire and loving some proper winter fun in the frozen garden ❄️🐾 We also head out to enjoy Hogmanay celebrations in our Scottish village, rounding off a week that perfectly sums up why we love rural life in Scotland so much.
