This pattern of rising notes is quoted in all three pieces and serves as a reminder to the audience that for these dogs to have been able to serve their masters, they had a bond of loyalty, trust and companionship. The so-called "Mankind’s-best-friend" element. After this we move into music that kicks off with a bang in the percussion. This is the real scenario of a dog fighting poachers.
