Gran Turismo 7 PS5 gameplay of the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and Porsche 911 Carrera RS (993) battling on the Tokyo Expressway. The second race is of Akira Nakai "Nakai-san's" RWB based 911 Turbo on the Tokyo Expressway against Gr.3 cars. The first race was a bit of a challenge considering both cars have RR (rear engine, rear wheel drive) drivetrain, meaning they handle like rubbish. The handling is so atrocious for these cars even the A.I. was struggling to keep the Carrera RS from spinning out. Mind you, I don't use traction control and my ABS is on weak. Anyway, the initial idea was to have a three custom race battle where the A.I. used both cars at least once, as well as I. However, those plans were ruined considering the A.I. literally could not keep the 911 Turbo from spinning every corner. I narrowed it down to one race, with the Turbo being at 400 HP while the Carrera was capped at 325 roughly. Both cars were able to match in acceleration and top speed with these basic tunes and both have anti lag, making it a fair race. These cars are a joy to look at but a pain in the ass to drive, which is why I love them. It literally improves your hand eye coordination as well as your ability to control the accelerator on bumps and corners. If you can master racing these, everything else is child's play. The second race was a custom race which I setup to be a handicap challenge. The goal was simple: Use a terrible handling street build against a full grid of Gr.3 circuit machines and attempt to place first within 10 minutes. I went with the 911 Turbo since it is the most difficult to handle of the two and I bumped the power up to 500 HP to compete with the Gr.3 builds. I absolutely struggled with this seeing as this circuit route on the Tokyo Expressway had it's fair share of sharp bends, an Achilles heel of this Porsche. I wanted to attack early and build my momentum on the straights so I can reserve the aggression on the corners and not risk spinning out. Conclusion, boredom results in this.
