Christmas 2025 taught me that joy doesn’t always show up on time. I cooked, I baked, event to concerts, played Christmas carols, did Christmas decorations, went walking watching Christmas lights on people’s homes and the deco, but I still couldn’t get into the spirit. I was forcing it. When I spoke to my family about it, I ground out that I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. We decided to ride it as the days went by. It took one church concert to bring it back somehow. But as soon as I left the church it didn’t come with me. I thank God I went as it was really fun and spiritual. Christmas 2025 came and went very fast and it’s like I still never felt it like the other years. Christmas didn’t make it this year until next year. Inshallah.
