About the series: As an extension of the World Music Heritage Series conceived and produced by maestro Bhai Baldeep Singh for Anād Records, the YaarAnād Virtual Baithak Series aims to celebrate excellence in the field of music, arts, dance, theatre, and literature. The YaarAnād Virtual Baithak Series marks the 550th birth anniversary of Gurū Nānak Dēv, the first gurū of the Sikhs. The artist: Born in Shahkot, Master Saleem is a popular Bollywood singer of Punjabi folk, devotional, and Sufi music. He was trained by his father, Ustad Puran Shah Koti, and won the name Master Saleem following his performance at age seven at the opening ceremony of Bathinda Doordarshan. He released his first album, Charkhe Di Ghook, three years later. In 2007, he debuted as a Bollywood playback singer, contributing a track to the movie Heyy Babyy.
