In today’s video, I’m showing you: ✅ How to extract hibiscus properly ✅ How to make high-foaming herbal shampoo ✅ Exact ingredients for long shelf life ✅ How to colour & preserve the shampoo ✅ Best formula for selling in your business This recipe is beginner-friendly, budget-friendly and gives a professional shampoo finish! 📝 Ingredients (for ~500 ml shampoo) • 🌸 Dried hibiscus flowers – 10–12 • 💧 Water – 400 ml • 🧼 Cocamidopropyl betaine (gentle surfactant) – 100 ml • 🌿 Xanthan gum or Hydroxyethyl cellulose – 1–2 tsp (for thickening) • 🧪 Natural preservative (e.g. Geogard Ultra, German Plus) – as per manufacturer’s % (usually 0.8 – 1%) • Optional: • A few drops of essential oil (lavender, rosemary, or peppermint) • aloe vera gel (for extra moisture) • Red color - 5 g • lavender essentialoil - 10 drops / 0.44 g Ingredients (in grams): • Dried hibiscus flowers – 2.5 g • Water – 400 g • Cocamidopropyl betaine – 105 g • Xanthan gum / HEC – 3–6 g • Red cosmetic color – 5 g • Lavender essential oil – 0.44 g • Preservative (Geogard / Germall Plus) – 4.2–5.2 g • Optional: Aloe vera gel – 10–20 g ⸻ 🧪 Method 1. Hibiscus extract: • Boil 400 ml water. • Add dried hibiscus flowers and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the water turns deep red. • Strain and let it cool completely. 2. Thickening base: • Sprinkle xanthan gum or HEC slowly into the cool hibiscus water, whisking well to avoid lumps. • Let it rest 10–15 minutes until it thickens. 3. Add surfactant: • Gently stir in cocamidopropyl betaine. Don’t whisk too fast to avoid foam. 4. Actives & preservative: • Mix in glycerin/aloe and essential oils if using. • Add preservative at the correct percentage and stir well. 5.
