Trip to Tunbridge is an English Country Dance first found in Preston in 1793. It was interpreted in 1961 by A. Simons (as found in the Playford Ball), and slightly changed after that (In Simons's version the 3s lead up, here they two hand spiral up). It is a proper 3 couple longways dance. The tune was published by Preston with the dance. It was performed by Bare Necessities (Earl Gaddis, Mary Lea, Peter Barnes, and Jacqueline Schwab) on the album "Mrs. Beveridge's Triumph". It is used with permission of Country Dance Society, Boston Centre, Inc. https://www.cds-boston.org/ecdc/ The animation plays at 112 normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color may change each time through the minor set. https://www.upadouble.info/
