Olivia and I set out from the quiet, less-traveled Two Medicine side of Glacier National Park, climbing nearly 2,300 feet through rain-soaked trails, wind-swept ridges and moody clouds that seemed to dance around the peaks. The timing of the weather was unreal—rain stopping as we hit the trail, clouds parting just in time for golden views over a turquoise lake and the vast Montana plains.
