FUN FAIR BUILD UP/PULL ON | Ashley Woods Fun Fair Gallows Ilkeston | June 2021

Hi Welcome to this very different video where I grab some unique footage from behind the scenes before a Fun Fair opens up to the public. I filmed this footage to show you how a Fun Fair is built up on a small ground from pulling on to setting up and building the rides. I caputured this footage on the day I filmed the Tip Top build up (Please check out that video if you haven't already) It's not much footage and is shorter than normal but I hope it gives you an insight into how these Fun Fairs set up prior to opening to the public. I've basically let the camera do the talking on this one so i'm sorry for the lack of talking from myself it's not really something I have vast knowledge on in terms of how rides are built from the ground up but hopefully you get an insight. I would like to thank Ashley Woods for allowing me to capture this footage for you all to see along with all the showmen and gaff lads throughout the day. The Fun Fair is on till the 13th July and is at the Gallows Recreation Ground in Ilkeston Derby. On the day I captured various footage from lorries pulling on and moving around the ground along with building up Ashley Woods Dogems,Miami,Whitings Waltzer cars being placed on the track etc and Burrows Frogs. I hope you enjoy this short video i'll try and do more throughout the season if it's something you want to see and hopefully I can improve in what you see.
