Join Us for a walk around Stamford as the build-up of the Stamford Mid-Lent fair down on Bath Row gets into full swing. By the time we arrived at dinner time on the 30th of March, most rides were well into their build, Ashley Wood Fast Track Dodgem set was fully open with just the back sheet, lights and sound system left to place, Evan Moran had got half his seats on the Reactor Superstar in place and was busy getting the others on, Ashley wood was also presenting in the same area his Welcome 2 Miami, Juvenile Lifting Planes and Tea Cups with all 3 still waiting to be set up, Brother William Wood was in the same area with his Formula set and his Race O Rama set with the Later still folded, the brothers were also there with the family catering kiosk. George Burrows was giving his Sizzler a rare outing in place of his Jump and Smile and with the absence of Reeves AtmosFear Loop Fighter and Dane Crow selling his Extreme to Nathan Smith, this left room for Albert Holland to present his 6-arm Extreme. The rest of this area was made up of Crazy Circus Funhouse, Game Stalls and Juvenile Bungee Trampolines. The other side also had some changes in its line up with Dane Crow's King Frogs taking the place of his sold Extreme and Shane Whyatt Dodgems taking the place of several side Stalls, in this area there was also Daley Capps Whack A Minion and Dane Crow's popular Exciter Ride, Heading up Castle Dyke towards the Sheep Market there is plenty of different food options and more games, up in the Sheep Market there is John Wheatley Spooky Towers Dark Ride and for the first time Stamford's Very own Showman Ian Taylor with his Crazy Fun House built by George Rowland Tucker and a selection of his Juvenile Rides including his Toy Set and Disney Train. Taking Horseshoe Lane up to Red Lion Square you are met by several continental food kiosks that back onto James Maynes Twister. Crossing over and leaving the Square on the opposite corner (Red Lion Street) you emerge onto Broad Street where Tears Recovery Veachles were removing cars to make way for the pull-on in the area. Once Removed the road fastly became a hustle of Large rides with Bishton's Big Horses, Billy Hebborn's Ignition Dodgems, James Cowie Tagada, Ryan Barwick's Freak Out and William Percival's Waltzer moving into their positions first, these were soon followed by Warren Dowse Rythmn Dancer Miami ride and Scott Hollands Vertigo Booster by Fabbri. A little further down the street was a Funhouse, George Burrows Race O Rama, and Many Games Stalls with a Large number of Juvenile rides still to come on. Around the corner, John Holsworth was setting up his Crazy Bulls ride.
