The buns usually suffer the ill effects of the journey, arriving limp and soggy, with the filling inadvertently reorganised depending on how bumpy the ride has been from the kitchen to your home. But we were blown away by the near pristine condition in which this extravagant order of burgers arrived, packed in sturdy cartons equipped with air vents to dissipate moisture. Packaging aside, the flavour and texture combinations too are the sort that work well to please most palates. As we discovered in this leisurely amble through some of Boss Burger’s most popular offerings, from a spicy chicken piri to desi chicken tikka, crunchy quinoa and root veggies to guacamole black bean and a loaded juicy mutton version that mimicked the smoky character of seekh kebab.
