Spray and Drip.. abstract art technique.. acrylic pour painting .. fluid art / acrylic painting technique This is a 2 ft by 3 ft ...level 2 canvas.. I added a pearl base coat and began adding ribbons of paint.. spraying them with water and then did some "extreme tilting". I applied 2 colours in the first stage.. let it dry.. then added the next colour.. dried again and then added the gold.. This acrylic painting technique is a bit challenging as with most all fluid art.. as you have little control over how the paints flow.. I have always thought that I was going to go back in and add a little bit more, but now looking at it I think in this case less is more.
