It’s perfect for Ramadan, family gatherings, or tea time. 📝 Ingredients For Bara (Vada): 1 cup urad dal (split black gram) 1–2 green chilies 1 small piece ginger Salt to taste Oil for frying For Yogurt Mixture: 2 cups thick yogurt (dahi) 2–3 tbsp sugar (optional) Salt to taste ½ tsp roasted cumin powder For Topping: Tamarind chutney Green chutney Red chili powder Chaat masala Fresh coriander leaves --- 👩🍳 Method 1️⃣ Soak the Dal Wash and soak urad dal in water for 4–6 hours. 2️⃣ Make the Batter Drain water and grind dal with green chilies, ginger, and a little water into a smooth thick paste. Add salt and beat the batter for 5 minutes to make it fluffy. 3️⃣ Fry the Bara Heat oil in a pan. Drop small portions of batter and fry on medium heat until golden brown. 4️⃣ Soak in Water Put fried bara in warm water for 10 minutes. Then gently squeeze out excess water. 5️⃣ Prepare Yogurt Whisk yogurt with sugar, salt, and roasted cumin powder until smooth. 6️⃣ Assemble Place soaked bara in a dish. Pour yogurt over them.
