To mark its 90th anniversary and the launch of the “Big Car Show”, Solido took up an audacious challenge orchestrated by Frédérick Guillier and his team: to create a 1/1-scale car from scratch! Like the great names in car preparation (RWB, Brabus, Prior Design...), Solido based its work on an existing model. A Porsche 911 SC, discovered in poor condition in a barn, served as the basis for this ambitious idea. The Solido team, passionate and determined, set about designing and assembling this unusual vehicle. For the design, the Josselin-based company called on Khyzyl Saleem, a British automotive designer renowned for his breathtaking creations on social networks and video games such as Need For Speed. Local companies, including Porsche specialist Flat56, also contributed their expertise to bring this incredible car to life. Discover the genesis of this project in our three-part documentary.
