*“The Seventh Vessel” Original Song* This piece reflects on the first sign at Cana and what it quietly revealed about who Jesus is and what He came to do. Six stone jars stood ready for ritual cleansing, vessels of law, repetition, and incompletion. Into those jars, meant for washing hands, Christ poured something they were never designed to hold. The miracle was not only the wine, but the announcement that cleansing itself was about to be fulfilled in Him. I created this song with the image of Christ as the unspoken seventh vessel. Not made of stone, not understood by men, but carrying within Himself the substance the jars could only point toward. Water gave way to wine. Ritual gave way to relationship. What purified the outside yielded to what would redeem the heart. Cana was not spectacle, it was revelation in restraint, a mercy revealed only to those close enough to trust Him. Thank you for listening, and for considering the quiet truth hidden in that first sign, that the One who changed the water would soon offer Himself as the true vessel of cleansing turning our shame to Glory as He turned the Bridegroom's inevitable shame to Glory by saving the best wine for last. Intro Verse 1 Stone vessels cold, for cleansing hands unworthy, Silent beneath the veil of Cana’s dawn. The feast ran dry, but faith in whispers lingered, A mother’s gaze met Heaven’s hidden song. Chorus Water of the worm, turned crimson divine, Flesh humbles glory, and glory refines. The serpent is crushed, yet mercy entwines, From the dust of my worth, You draw holy wine. Verse 2 No trumpet called, no crowd was shown the wonder, Only love saw the hand that stirred the deep. For purity’s jars held grace in secret thunder, And Heaven’s joy awoke from human need. Bridge But I am a worm, and not a person, Scorned and poured out upon the earth. The vessels cracked, yet never broken, For in their emptiness, new birth. Chorus Water of the worm, turned crimson divine, Flesh humbles glory, and glory refines. In the hush of faith, the old law resigns, And the blood of the Lamb fills the jars of time. Outro Mary knew, but silence kept the story, Until the Son hung low in mortal pain. To John she wept, He made the water glory, And through that cross, we drink the wine again. © 2025 LOGOS ALGORITHM. “The Seventh Vessel.” This work may be shared, performed, or used in non commercial recordings as long as clear credit is given to LOGOS ALGORITHM as the original creator.
