Interested in this guitar? IT'S FOR SALE! Call LAWMAN MIKE (312) 848-1864 Today, Rob's Southside Guitars is Presenting.. A beautiful and excellent playing 1965 Gibson Adjustable Bridge J50 Dreadnought Guitar. It comes with a newer Hard Shell Case. This guitar is absolutely beautiful and it sounds like you would expect a vintage Gibson Guitar to sound. Fantastic! Very proud and mellow enough to not overpower your singing... Plays like a dream and its in great shape. The guitar still has room to adjust the bridge should it ever need it. No indication of the neck ever being reset and it certainly doesn't need it now or in the near future. The pickguard is still on nice and tight and the frets are in great shape. Hard to say the frets are original give the age of the guitar. If they were replaced, it was difinitely a pro job. The binding have mellowed to a golden amber, the nut is original as are the Kluson Double Line Tuners. Complete with the original Gibson tuner grommets and truss rod cover. The truss rod still works as it should. The only malady is the previous owner had a sound hole pickup installed. No screw holes thank goodness but he did have an input jack hole in the lower bout side. See pic 10. We left that alone. A chrome plug may fit if desired are the guitar is certainly ready for another pickup installation if needed. The guitar plays great with super low action. The thinner C shaped profile neck plays easily. The nut measures 1 5/8 inches wide and the guitar has the standard Gibson 24 3/4 inch scale neck. 20 frets and it's ready to go! Comes with the shown newer Hard Shell case. All latches, hinges, handle and accessory box are still with it. A very good case to protect your guitar in shipping and transport. Vintage and cool but Sold as is no returns as it's used. Thanks for respecting that Rob @ Rob's Southside Music and More.
