From the English Devolution Bill and the Bus Services (No 2) Bill to the Transport for City Regions funding and Integrated National Transport Strategy annoucements, public transport has been at the top of national and local political agendas. Join Centre for Cities for the launch of a new report exploring just how much transport integration, and the devolved powers that will help deliver it, could improve existing public transport networks in England’s six Established Mayoral Combined Authorities (Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, the North East, South Yorkshire, the West Midlands and West Yorkshire). This new report uses real-time data to model how many more people would be able to access their city centre within 30 minutes by public transport if existing networks were better integrated. Speakers: Ruth Cadbury MP, Chair, Transport Committee Rebecca Fuller, Assistant Director, Urban Transport Group Presenter: Rob Johnson, Analyst, Centre for Cities Chair: Andrew Carter, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities
