In today’s video, we’re sharing one of our favorites "from-scratch" comfort meals: 30min Ground Beef Stuffed Butternut. This recipe is the perfect balance of sweet roasted butternut and savory, spiced ground beef. We show you how to prep the butternut, so it stays firm enough to hold the filling but gets perfectly tender in the oven. Please like and subscribe. This is a budget-friendly, hearty meal that the whole family will love. Plus, the butternut shell becomes so soft after boiling and baking that you can eat the whole thing! Ingredients & Recipe: The Base: 2 Butternuts (ends trimmed, pits removed), 1 Onion (chopped), ½ Green Pepper (diced). The Meat: 500g Ground Beef, 50g Butter (for caramelizing the onions). Spices & Flavor: 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Coriander Powder, ½ tsp Smoked Paprika, Dried Origanum, Salt & Black Pepper to taste, a splash of Worcestershire Sauce, and 1 tsp Fresh Garlic. Topping: Your favorite melting cheese. Method: Fry onion and green pepper in oil until translucent. Boil the prepared butternuts until soft but firm (don't let them fall apart!). Add 50g butter to the onions to caramelize, then brown the 500g ground beef. Stir in all spices, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh garlic. Scoop out the center of the boiled butternuts (not too deep). Mix the scooped-out butternut into the beef mixture.
