Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Boat Buckle Quick Lock transom tie down straps. Tie down straps let you firmly secure your boat's transom or stern to your trailer. These feature a quick lock design, so typically with transom tie down straps, you're looking at a couple different options. You have your standard ratcheting mechanism. You also have a cam buckle or a cinch strap style. Then you have this style right here, which is called quick lock. The quick lock over center buckle is easy to use. It holds your strap tight with a weave through design. It opens and closes with the use of just using one hand. It maintains tension on the strap for a better hold when compared to standard cam buckles.Really easy to use. You would connect your hooks. One connects to the boat. The other one connects to the trailer. Then you simply pull out any slack that you have. Once you have all the slack pulled out, you take this. You rotate it over. Then it kind of has a breaking point right there. Once that done, you know that it's tight and locked into place. You can roll up any excess strap that you have. Just like I have right here. Then use the hook and loop fastener to secure the buckle, and to secure any excess strap that you have going on.Another neat feature about this system is all the metal components are stainless steel, so the buckles and the S hooks are stainless steel construction. Very strong and durable, and it provides maximum corrosion resistance, which makes this system great for saltwater applications. Also, there is a web pad under each buckle, which keeps it from scratching and scuffing the contact area. The strap itself is made from a durable polypropylene webbing. It's very flexible. It's very durable, and it's completely weather resistant. This set up is available in two foot, four foot, and six foot lengths. Two foot lengths is part number IMF12065. Four foot is IMF12066. Six foot is IMF12067. All of those are available here at eTrailer.com. The safe working load limit is 333 pounds per strap. Maximum load, or break strength is 1,000 pounds per strap. Just always keep in mind that tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. That's going to do it for today's look at the Boat Buckle Quick Lock transom tie down straps.
