Thanks to Aaron 3-B for the idea for this level. Finally I'm back to QFTGS; I'm sorry it's been so long, but with university starting over the next few weeks, I'm probably not going to be uploading very frequently. Of course I'll still make levels when I can, but it's probably going to be slower than before. Anyway, what is there to say about 2-GH? The old version was, well, terrible. The disappearing blocks were just awful, and I have no idea why I even added them in the first place; I hated that gimmick in Mega Man. Of course, the new 2-GH has a new gimmick: rusty conveyor belts that fall when you stand on them. Originally, I was going to keep the design mostly the same and just replace all the disappearing blocks with rusty conveyors, but I thought a full-on redesign would probably be better, and, thanks to Aaron 3-B, I had a more original and varied idea for how the level would look, which now incorporates more of the overall aesthetic of World 2 (which you can see in the basement/chemical storage section). It's not in the video, but the brown ground in this section hurts you when you stand on it (it's reskinned spikes). The beginning of the level is also dark now, meaning there's a darkness effect at some point in all the ghost houses so far. Hopefully though, this isn't too hard or annoying. I probably could have done a lot more with turning on the power, but I just thought that'd make the level too long, and the original 2-GH was really bloated for a World 2 level. Also, towards the end, if you don't take the fake elevator down to the third Star Coin, there's one more rusty conveyor before another elevator takes you up to the exit (not in the video). The secret exit, I hope, isn't too obvious and should make you think at least a little bit, but I was never very good at making ghost houses puzzling and cryptic like they tend to be in the official games, and it is the first ghost house in the episode after all. Do leave a comment if there's anything you want to say. If you don't like this level, don't be afraid to say it. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
