Autumn at Chapel Point

Fall colors, fog and sundogs highlight our autumn trip back to the confluence of the Port Tobacco and Potomac Rivers at Chapel Point, MD. This is one of the nearest public spaces outside the Washington, DC no fly zone to get my drone airborne. And the views are spectacular. It's where I made my first drone flight back in 2013 and I kept coming back. Chapel Point State Park is a primitive park, with corn growing in the summers. The road can be washed out at times, but if you take it back through the trees, you'll see wonderful views of the rivers' confluence. Definitely worth the drive south from DC.
