In this video me and the dog call for a short explore around a local hidden beauty spot with awesome breathtaking waterfalls and a valley of abandoned mill workings. History Old historic industrial valley with abandoned old mill ruins and stunning waterfalls hidden in the Derbyshire countryside. The first mill or industrial site dates back to the 1700s. In its prime a bit of everything was made here. There was a bone crushing mill , a paint mill , lower and higher bleach works. The last one closing down in the 1920s now only ruins and the waterfalls are left behind.
