Basically the same thing as the original Omega for the most part, but with a few changes. We also 100% need the drop from this for Enuo, Neo Shinryu, and Cloister of the Dead. Turns 2/4/8 are still guaranteed Wave Cannon. Turn 5 is still the double turn which can have Wave Cannon, turn 6 is still the Search turn. The only safe time to attack(without glitches) is still after a reflected Search. It is possible to chip away on other turns if you use the status cannon bug by using a cannon that tries to inflict an ailment the boss is immune to which causes no counter(GBA Only). I am trying not to use any bugs though outside of Mirage Vest bug(required to beat the dungeon under these conditions) and the status immunity bug(something that can easily be done accidentally in normal play and therefore is basically a feature). Due to this, I ignored the status cannon bug. The status immunity bug actually happened in this fight too when I mixed Lifewater for Regen but was immune to it because I was wearing the Bone Mail during previous battles while running through this part, which has regen immunity. The regen immunity transferred from the previous battle, even though I'm no longer wearing the Bone Mail. This is more practically used for transferring the slow/sleep/paralyze/stop immunity from Hermes Sandals(was done for final boss and Enuo). It's a useful trick for Bone Mail immunity too, but any battle where I wanted those, I was using the Bone Mail anyways. Differences in the fight: Barrier Change at start and when hit by weakness. Will reset the AI pattern unless shifts to same form. Has counters to Rapid Fire, so we can no longer use the Dragon's Kiss + Rapid Fire Dragon Lances strategy. The boss is way higher speed. Krile hasted even with best speed gear and boss slowed still only gets two turns to attack after Search, just like the first fight without Slow. This means the boss fight isn't even that much faster. It's also only faster because I didn't use the skill set in main game because too strong. Same strategy applies of getting Haste, Dragon's Kiss, double HP, and Resist Fire up. First thing after Search is to Slow Cannon(75% to inflict Slow if target is vulnerable). I also made a mistake in switching from fire absorb equipment thinking I'd get another turn after slowing the boss, but the Slow didn't actually go into effect until after the next turn. I thought I'd have time to mix Resist Fire in case of reflected Atomic Ray, but I didn't. This didn't happen though, so I still lived. Don't switch into your agility weapons until after the boss is actually under Slow. After that, we use Needle Cannon for consistent 3,000 damage. This was obviously way too strong a skill set to allow for main game, but Sealed Temple is designed for it, so we'll be using it. Abilities from all 3 of the GBA added jobs at this point will get a chance to be used during Sealed Temple. Sadly, Necromancer after clearing the dungeon is still useless. Rules: Solo Character (Only applies to boss fights) Lowest Reasonable Level No Player induced death/petrify status. Enemy inflicted against enemy is fine. No Level Manipulation(Exception: Aging status) No Blessed Kiss I will try not to use Hide during boss battles if I can, but no guarantee on it.
