Why do you think Jesus chose only Peter, James, and John to witness the transfiguration? What might that tell us about leadership and closeness with Him? 2. What is the significance of Jesus being transfigured before them? What does His radiant appearance reveal about who He truly is? 3. Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus. Why do you think those two figures were present, and what might they represent? 4. Peter wants to build three shelters. What does his response reveal about human instinct when we experience something powerful or sacred? 5. The Father says, “This is my beloved Son… listen to Him.” Why is that command central to this moment? 6. The disciples fall facedown in fear. How should a right understanding of Jesus shape our reverence and awe? 7. Jesus tells them not to speak about the vision until after the resurrection.
