EVER WONDERED WHAT THERE IS TO SEE AND DO ALONG OODNADATTA TRACK? We share our recent journey (June 2025), the place we stayed, road conditions and what's to see. In this Episode, we start with the journey from Leigh Creek to Marree. The road in this section in bitumen and mostly in excellent condition. The last supermarket from south is at Leigh Creek. Make sure you are well provisioned for your entire stay. William Creek has a pub with in house dining, but no food store. Marree has a roadhouse with a cafe and some groceries, but deliveries can be intermittent and we found they were understocked in freash produce such as butter, eggs, yoghurt, vegetables etc. Fine for tine foods and long life products at remote location prices. Check out the video to see some of the stops along the way, including Farina while restoration works are happening. The bakery there is amazing, serving delicious breads out of their underground wood fired oven.
