Hiking Mount Tenerife via the Teneriffe Falls trail takes you through forested paths up to a beautiful waterfall. Beyond the falls, the trail becomes steep, and around 4,380 ft there was a bit of snow. In the morning, it could be icy, so bringing microspikes is a good idea.
