My love story with GOD didn’t begin in this lifetime.🔥❤️ In this video, I share the deeply personal story of my relationship with my Ishta Devata — how devotion to Krishna has guided my life through childhood, atheism, depression, spiritual awakening, Bhakti Yoga, and complete surrender. This is not a theological explanation. This is lived Bhakti. A story of devotion, longing, surrender, and the mysterious way your Ishta Devata chooses you long before you consciously choose them. If you’ve ever wondered: • How to find your Ishta Devata • What Krishna Bhakti feels like • What happens when you surrender to God • The real experience of Bhakti Yoga • How devotion transforms trauma, karma, and life direction This video is for you. 🌸 What is an Ishta Devata? In Hindu spirituality, your Ishta Devata is your chosen form of the Divine — but “chosen” is misleading. As I share in this video, your Ishta Devata is a relationship that transcends this lifetime. It is a love that has existed across lifetimes, waiting to be remembered. For me, that love has always been Krishna. Before I understood religion, philosophy, or Hinduism, I knew Krishna. As a child, the connection was simple and unquestioned — a quiet certainty that he was there, that we belonged to each other. Later, I learned that while my mother was pregnant with me in India, she visited a temple daily where a Krishna murti stood. Devotion began before birth. That realization reshaped how I understood spiritual connection, karma, and lineage. 🌿 From Atheism to Krishna Bhakti This video also explores a part of my story many people experience but rarely talk about — losing faith. During my teenage years and a difficult decade that followed, I rejected religion entirely and identified as an atheist. Yet something unexpected happened: even when I walked away from God, I never walked away from Krishna. There was anger. Distance. Silence. But the relationship remained. Through depression, identity struggles, and questioning spirituality, Krishna remained a quiet presence — a thread that never broke. Returning to Bhakti Yoga wasn’t dramatic. It was natural. Devotion resumed where it had paused. Prayer returned. Singing returned. Surrender returned. And life changed. Not because life became easier — but because it became guided. ✨ Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga & Spiritual Surrender In this video, I speak about how devotion to Krishna shaped my path through Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Advaita teachings, including reflections on the Bhagavad Gita and the experience of surrendering action, purpose, and dharma to the Divine. Krishna became: • A guide for my life mission • A framework for service • A source of clarity during uncertainty • A companion through pain and transformation Through devotion, I experienced deep karmic release, healing of generational patterns, and a sense of unbreakable inner stability. My journey also expanded to include devotion to other deities — Shiva, Devi, Kalabhairava — yet Krishna remained the center. The doorway. The thread connecting everything. 🌌 Vishwarupa, Non-Duality & the Deeper Meaning of Devotion As Bhakti deepens, something profound happens. Your Ishta Devata stops being “a deity” and becomes reality itself. In this video, I reflect on the moment in the Mahabharata when Krishna reveals the cosmic form — the Vishvarupa — and how Bhakti eventually leads to non-duality, the realization of Brahman, ultimate consciousness. Devotion begins as love for a form. It evolves into surrender to all existence. Bhakti Yoga is not passive. It is intense. Emotional. Transformative. It dissolves identity, ego, and separation. It blurs the line between lover and beloved, seeker and God. At its deepest point, there is only oneness. 🌺 Topics Covered in This Video • My personal Krishna Bhakti story • How to recognise your Ishta Devata • Losing faith and returning to spirituality • Bhakti Yoga experiences and emotional devotion • Karma Yoga and offering action to God • Spiritual awakening through devotion • Healing karma through Bhakti • Vishwarupa and non-dual realization • Surrender, moksha, and the path to liberation If you are exploring Hindu spirituality, Krishna devotion, Bhakti Yoga, Ishta Devata relationships, or spiritual awakening — this conversation is an invitation to remember your own connection. Because once that relationship awakens, something shifts permanently. Clarity deepens. Resilience strengthens. Your path toward moksha becomes visible. My relationship with Krishna is not perfect. There are moments of anger, silence, longing. But the thread has never broken. And that is the power of Bhakti. If this resonates, share your Ishta Devata story in the comments. I would love to hear who called you.
