This megacollab is releasing today for a special reason, which is that it's Optical's birthday. If you've been around the game for a while, you've probably heard of this creator, as they were one of the major pioneers of the "modern" creating style. You can find many of their levels on my channel from 6-8 years ago, which is around when they quit. Still, a lot of creators were inspired by Optical's style, and I'm sure that can be said for most, if not all, of the creators in this level. Coming together to make such a high quality megacollab, largely in Optical's classic modern style or newer variations of it, is a very nice tribute for the occasion. It doesn't have any consistent theme or color scheme, being incredibly colorful from part to part, but I think it works well as a showcase of what this style can offer in 2026. The high quality of the designs, backgrounds, and effects in some parts makes sense given the absolutely stacked creator list (seen below). As for the gameplay, this is rather easy within most parts, but given the length of 3 minutes, it requires some endurance. It's also noticeably inconsistent in difficulty, as the climax at 2:00 is harder than every part before it. This part is more technical, requiring you to time many robot jumps accurately and bump into blocks, and also much faster. Some of the parts right after this are also a bit harder due to the increased speed. I think it makes sense that the climax is a bit harder if any parts are, but it can definitely be frustrating for some players. At least the parts themselves are quite enjoyable to play once known, though. If you wanna beat this, you should definitely practice the climax well so you don't waste too much time dying far in like I did. That did give me the chance to enjoy the awesome visuals over and over, though, so I'm not complaining too much. The only other nitpick I have is that some of the transitions feel a bit like an afterthought, such as when the player icon just floats on an invisible block to get brought into the next part, and I prefer if it's more natural like in many of the other parts personally. All in all, this deserves at least an Epic rating, but I'm hoping for a Legendary! ★ Become a Member of my channel for special perks: https://www.youtube.com/viprin/join VIDEO INFORMATION Game (version): Geometry Dash (2.2) Level: "Accord" by HollowEarth, SKepler, Knots, Xender Game, marrk, mmmeadow, Zipper01, calidaer, Spord, Kazey, Kitzsune, Digitalight, Subpixel, L375, Regulus24, albertalberto, bloomng, verticallity, logiking, ivylena, FGHJapan, xXLOCOXx, ElectroBlaze and CYT0 ID: 133485005 Music: "Aquamarine" by wispx https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/list...
