What a treat this walk was, pity about the loo stops! Led brilliantly by Nia of Wild Trails Wales & Lisa too we did a good days walk of around 15 miles by my app. Our walk was a walk of two halves. Flattish down to Llanfair-ym-Muallt aka Builth Wells but then decidedly up after our lunch break. Afternoon views were splendid. We saw the Black Mountains from afar, sniggered at the alternative name for Twmpa and reflected on the change in geology that lies ahead. Plenty of wildflower expertise provided and some quite fantastic birdsong identification - maybe more about that next time. Ample parking at Newbridge; there is a car park outside the primary school at LD1 6LD also straightforward at Erwood Craft Station LD2 3SJ We follow the Wye Valley Way religiously, although on this route we snipped off the tedious bit from Newbridge - here is the map route for stage 4: https://explore.osmaps.com/route/2695...
