Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, Cyber Truck the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot production happens in 2025! Great Day to fly and see another big milestone for Giga Texas with the 400,000th Model Y produced since production began officially almost exactly 3 years ago! The Tesla team set up this display using red Model Y's on the Parking Garage just in time for me to get a good look and I'm glad to be able to share with you! Timestamps: Drone flight overview with discussion & illustration: 0:06 to 2:54 Drone flight footage & infographics: 3:13 to 32:53 In the video introduction, in addition to the 4ooK milestone, I show some more detailed views of the Model Y's autonomously driving themselves from the factory around the south end and under the bridge and then on to the sorting lanes on the east side of the End of Line facility ... a nearly 2 mile trip with out humans! I also saw Cybertrucks driving over, some on the same path as the Model Y's and some coming out of the Cybertunnel. Some appeared to be driving themselves without humans, while others seemed to have human supervisors behind the wheel. I can't say for sure, but it is possibly the difference between Cybertrucks from the east temporary storage lot (with blue plastic wrap along the side "Cantrails" and Cybertrucks coming fresh off the production line. I also show the progress at the Megapack #2 site, where about 2/3rds of the Megabucks have now been placed onto the steel beam mounts. I think several more days of assembly will complete all Megapack placing and then the task of electrically connecting them to the transformers will begin. I did notice, by the way, on my previous video a Telsa drone operator was capturing images and video of this installation, so I expect we'll see an official video release form Tesla in the not-too-distant future. Finally, work continues near the electrical switchyard to prepare the ground to allow the expansion of the switchyard to begin. The overall grade has been raised but not completely and the remnants of the old sand and gravel mine depression and ponds are almost gone. We can see the path to extend the current underground water management pipe towards the new water detention pond. Also, the new dirt road trailing off to the north from this site is being heavily used by center dump trucks carrying dirt from the north large rectangular field. Much more to see and talk about today! Thank you for watching and I hope this has been informative, educational, and entertaining for you.
