Pieter Heiliegers is the “cyber mayor” of the Metropolitan Region Amsterdam (MRA) and mayor of Uithoorn. He actively fosters public-private cooperation to strengthen digital resilience across the region. Daniel Gebler, co-founder and CTO of the online supermarket Picnic and former researcher at VU Amsterdam, drives the company’s technological innovation. At the conference, he will share how Picnic’s disruptive approach connects with the growing importance of cyber resilience. Melanie Rieback is a computer scientist and co-founder of Radical Open Security. She obtained her PhD in Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Alexander Scholtes serves as a deputy mayor for the city of Amsterdam, with responsibility for ICT and Amsterdam’s digital city agenda. Bibi van den Berg is professor Cybersecurity Governance at Leiden University and chair of ACCSS, the cybersecurity scientists association of the Netherlands.
