Romania: Why would anyone go on holiday HERE !

This week I explore more of the Transylvanian region of Romania. Starting off in Brasov, the old Medieval town and home to the Black Tower, the White Tower and the Black Church A lot of Black buildings there, but not everything is black and white. This colourful place also has amazing history, street cafe culture, cobbled streets and the wonderful Tampa mountain which can be explore by foot or cable car (when it’s up and running again). Moving onto the famous town of Bran, yes Bran of Bran castle and Dracula fame, we pop out for some decent food, only to stumble into a film set, where a reality show or tv series is being made with famous Romanian star Serghei Niculescu-Mizil and co star Raluca Badulescu, after enjoying watching them film for a while we settle down to a spectacular traditional Romanian meal, followed by a long, dark and somewhat scary walk home along a very quiet road, apart that is from the sudden sound of barking dogs trying to keep us away from their garden and or sheep !
