Perfect for hot summer days! ►Full written recipe: https://thecookingfoodie.com/recipe/s... ► Equipment I used in this video: https://www.amazon.com/shop/thecookin... ►FOLLOW ME: Instagram: / thecookingfoodie Facebook: / thecookingfoodie Website: https://www.thecookingfoodie.com/ Ingredients: 4 teaspoons Black tea (or 4 bags) or any tea of your choice 2 cups (480ml) Hot water 2 cups (350g) Strawberries 1-2 tablespoons Lemon juice 2-3 tablespoons Maple syrup or any other sweetener (read recipe notes) 2-3 cups Cold Water Ice Instructions: 1. Brew the tea: In a heatproof jug or bowl, pour 2 cups of hot water over the black tea. Let steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Then remove the tea bags or strain the leaves. Let the tea cool slightly. 2. Make the strawberry puree: In a blender, add the strawberries, maple syrup (or any other sweetener), lemon juice and blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove the seeds. 3. Combine: In a large pitcher, mix together the brewed tea, strawberry puree, cold water and ice. Stir well until everything is combined and the syrup is dissolved. Taste and adjust the sweetness or acidity to your liking. 4. Chill: Serve or place in the fridge to chill until ready to serve. 5. Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour over the chilled strawberry tea. Garnish with mint leaves, fresh strawberry slices or lemon wedges if desired.
