The simplest way to stall a Spirit in Banish the Beyond. Dead By Daylight players have developed much more elaborate looping strategies which can also apply in Banish the Beyond but I thought this footage was just funny to share. Banish the Beyond Explained: Banish the Beyond is an event minigame available during Wynncraft’s Festival of Spirits. It is based off of Dead by Daylight with the basic premise being a 1v4. The solo player is the Spirit (known as the “Killer” in DbD) whose goal is to prevent the Survivors from escaping and prevent themselves from being “Banished.” The goal of the Survivors is to power 5 of 7 wells scattered across the map to “Banish” the Spirit and then escape by powering the East and/or West gates. Each Survivor has 3 lives and it takes the Spirit two hits to down a Survivor. When a Survivor is hit, they will be “Injured” and given 3 seconds of Speed Boost to run away. When a Survivor is hit while Injured, they will be downed and lose a life. Notably, when the Spirit attacks, it is slowed down. It is slowed down for a longer duration of time if it lands an attack vs if it misses an attack (thus allowing Survivors to get away easier when they are hit). Survivors can heal and revive other Survivors. Survivors can only heal other Survivors when they are injured bringing them back to a non-injured state. Healing cannot be used to regenerate lives. Survivors can revive others when they are downed. If a Survivor is not revived while downed for 60 seconds, they will lose another life. This timer does not go down if the Spirit is nearby (so Spirits cannot simply camp a grave). The map features Barricades which can be jumped over by Survivors but are impassable for the Spirit. The Spirit must destroy the Barricades to pass them. Barricades can be slammed down on the Spirit stunning them if they are near it. Note that the Spirit cannot destroy Barricades if they are not put down so it is best to save as many Barricades as possible. The map also features Lockers which Survivors can hide inside but only for a limited amount of time. Note that Spirits can right-click Lockers to check them and if you are inside, you will instantly be downed. The game features a “Tome of Attunement” for Survivors which can be used to choose a “Perk” out of 3 every 150 points. You start off the game selecting a Perk out of 5 choices. Points can be earned through various means: powering wells, successfully powering a well to 100%, banishing the Spirit, healing other survivors, slamming a barricade on the Spirit, being near the Spirit when it misses an attack, losing a life while downed. Music: The music from 4:00-4:37 was created by me in Minecraft Note Block Studio using Wynncraft’s custom note block sounds. The music that plays during the “Gates Phase” (5:56-9:06 and 17:11-19:40) after a successful banishment of the Spirit is called “Break for Beyond.” The Official Wynncraft OST YouTube channel has posted it here: • Break for Beyond #minecraft #wynncraft #deadbydaylight #deadbydaylightsurvivor
