Emergency Response Driver Training Ltd (ERDT) leads the way by being the first Emergency Services training provider to offer an International Diploma in Emergency Response Driving Instruction accredited by the Royal Society for the Presentation of Accidents (RoSPA) The course is available to all Emergency Services Worldwide that have a requirement to training Instructors to deliver Emergency Response Driving. The training is based on our very successful National Diploma and delivered at your location to meet your needs. The first Emergency Services to achieve this highly regarded International Diploma was the Royal Gibraltar Police and the Gibraltar Ambulance Service. ERDT delivered a very successful joint course to the Police and Ambulance Service, the Services decision to run the courses together in collaboration has shown their commitment to Interoperability and will provide Instructor resilience for both Services. Emergency Response Driver Training Ltd is a RoSPA accredited training body and all ERDT Courses are accredited by RoSPA. We currently deliver training to over 53 Emergency Services across the UK and Worldwide. The International Diploma in Emergency Response Driving Instruction will ensure the Instructors have the knowledge, understanding and skill required to Instruct under normal road speed conditions and emergency response conditions. The training is based on individual driver and Instructor competencies as per the UK High Speed Driver Training codes of practice and The Road Traffic (Training Course for Driving Vehicles at High Speed) Regs 2016 in-line with Section 19 of the UK Road Safety Act.
