We come across a variety of edible wild plants and mushrooms, including garlic mustard, wild garlic, jelly ears, and witches’ butter — all of which can be consumed with careful identification. I share key foraging tips, how to safely identify each species, and where to find them during the winter months. If you’re new to foraging or looking for beginner-friendly winter species, this is a great place to start.
