Our family recently stayed at the historic Dauphine Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana-the oldest hotel in the state, with records dating back to 1775. Situated just a block from the lively Bourbon Street, its prime location in the heart of the French Quarter made it a great base for exploring the city's attractions. The hotel, while not overly luxurious, had a unique charm that matched its rich history. The staff were friendly, the coffee was always fresh, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. We appreciated the character of the hotel and its historical significance. Our son were intrigued by the ghost stories surrounding May Baily's Place, the hotel's bar that used to be New Orleans' first legal brothel in the mid-1800s. Even though we didn't see any ghosts during our stay, the mysterious past added a fun layer of excitement to our trip. Overall, we enjoyed the Dauphine Orleans as a family but look forward to exploring a new spot on our next visit to New Orleans."
